Knitting Zen

I need to take another picture of the newly-restarted socks. My gauge was correct on Size 3 needles (7-1/2 stitches to the inch); I've just finished the gusset and have started on the foot.

At one point yesterday afternoon, I was sitting my chair with both Socks, Socks, Socks and Knitting on the Road open on my lap, my sock (on 5 double pointed needles) in my hands, and my knitting bag scrunched down between me and the side of the chair, and Pyewacket decided she needed to be cuddled.

I let her (Bob's out of town, so she's bereft), then Dinah decided she wanted to be in on the action. She only stayed a few seconds, though, because it was way too crowded for her.

Shortly thereafter, I put Pyewacket down so I could go put another load of laundry in the dryer, and when I got back, they had both taken over the chair. I didn't have the heart to move them, so I went and knitted on the couch.
