The Ideal Knitting Bag thread at Knitter's Review.
I just love reading about bags. My ideal knitting bag (so far) is (are) my Vera Bradley bag (Christmas print) and my faux-Vera Bradley (cream and rose print) that's exactly the same except for the fabric.
They're not too big, yet not too small. Big enough for a large-size magazine like Knitter's, the inside is lined with pockets, the handles are long enough to go over my shoulder, and it's got a nice smooth plastic zipper.
I've got three projects in mine right now--another Seaman's Scarf, this one in a basketweave or checkerboard pattern in Oxford Grey Woolease for my brother, the "Sweater for Your Head" in light grey Woolease, and a skein of Chinchilla to start another scarf, this one for one of my sisters. And all the assorted needles. And my PDA. Oh, and a Mac magazine that came last night. It's a little heavy this morning.
