I am s-l-o-w-l-y knitting on the Seaman's scarf that I think is going to be for one of Bob's friends for Christmas. I mean slowly like one pattern block (four rows) a day. Slow. Which is fine. There's no hurry, and I don't have anything else I'm desperate to start, although I keep thinking about trying some Fixation socks again.

Last night I got an Amazon.com order which included a copy of Knit Mittens, which looks like fun. Although the ones that really grabbed me were the ones made for children. Why is that?

I was looking at the designs in the newest Knitter's, and the design that appealed to me most was the first one, the one meant for a little girl. I'm not sure what this means . . .
