Knitting Zen

I finished the first of the first Inspiration socks today, tried it on, and decided it was too short. They soften up after being washed, so it's usually okay if they're just exactly the right length, but this one seemed too short, even though it's the same length I've been making all along. The Inspiration seems to knit up into a slightly firmer fabric--it may be because so much of the yarn is undyed. I'm just guessing about that, but I ended up undoing the toe and ripping it out back to the toe decreases, and adding another half inch to it, just to be safe. I'll make the other one the same, then wash them before I knit another pair from Inspiration.
