Knitting Zen

I started the sock from Trekking Crazy Colors No. 802 today. The colors are actually much prettier than the color chart, very Easter-egg, Spring-like colors. Pale green and pink and a warm, buttery yellow, and the stripes in between that look like gray here are actually white with lavender speckles.

The yarn itself reminds me of Regia--softer than Opal, without the sometimes stiff feel that Opal has.

I couldn't find the center of the ball without pulling the entire skein inside out, so I'm knitting it from the outside, which is annoying, but other than that, I really like this yarn. Too bad I'm not crazy about most of the other colors, although who knows, they may be wonderful and they just don't show up on the website very well.
