Knitpicks has Cascade 220 on sale!

I've been wanting to do something felted, but I just find it hard to get excited about solid-colored yarns. Weird, I know. And I've been so absorbed by the sock knitting that knitting something with big needles hasn't seemed terribly appealing. But this weekend I worked with the worsted weight possum yarn, and started some more cat toys, and I found that I do enjoy making something that works up quickly. Now, how much I'll enjoy knitting something on Size 11 needles remains to be seen . . .

Anyway, I'll probably start with the basic Suki pattern, although I doubt I'll actually do the Knit-Along. But just seeing what everyone else is doing makes me really want to make one.

I have a hard time picking colors to go together. I still don't know how well I did. I chose natural, dove grey, a kind of multicolored darkish lavender ("Confetti," I think it was called), and celery. Two of each except the natural--I just got one skein of that one, for thin stripes between the colors. Who knows whether it will work, but felting (I hear) covers a multitude of sins . . .
