I also looked at The Purl Stitch, which I hadn't seen before, and I really liked that one. I hadn't been so crazy about The Knit Stitch, but I liked a couple of the projects in this one a lot, especially the asymmetrical summer top/vest. And it's a beautiful book, really well presented.

But I decided I shouldn't spend the money on myself right now, and decided I could wait.

But this morning David sent me an Amazon gift certificate for my birthday tomorrow, so I'm getting both of them! So nice to have good friends who know exactly what I like. :)
