Saturday, January 31, 2004:

I ordered three hanks of Big Kureyon to make the two Kitty Pi(s?), since the pattern said that it took two to make one, but that she used "less than half of the second one." So I figured I could get two out of three hanks, but I ended up five rows (the important five rows, the ones with the frou-frou) short.

So I ordered more. I thought about alternatives, about ripping back a row and casting it off short, or using something else from my stash, but I didn't want to compromise.

I didn't just order one, though, because that seemed dumb, ordering another whole hank just for five rows. I ordered two, and that way I can make another one, maybe for Misty's kitties. Shhhh. Don't tell.

I also ordered some regular Kureyon, because Carodan Farm has Color 88 (purple/green/gold/orange) back in stock.
