Sunday, January 11, 2004:

Last night I cleaned out one of my medium-sized Rubbermaid boxes, and rearranged the stash, then refilled the box with yarn, needles, and patterns for things I might want to start when I get back from the hospital, so Bob can find them easily.

I put in the Big Kureyon for Kitty Pi, some regular Kureyon for a Booga Bag and some for a Lily Bag, some Koigu for wristers, and some Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride, maybe for some mittens or a hot water bottle cozy. That ought to keep me busy for awhile!

In between cleaning the house, doing laundry, and doing some freelance web design stuff, I've been working on my Opal "Lollipop" sock today, trying to get the heel turned and the gusset made so it's smooth sailing to the end of the foot, and I'm almost there.

The sock will go into my bag that I packed just in case I have to stay in the hospital longer than anticipated.

I've been drinking apple juice all day today. It's very weird not being able to eat. Maybe I'll have some chicken broth, just for a change . . .
