This is an interesting technique from Berroco - Scarf Central: Using novelty yarns, knit a narrow scarf on two very different sized needles. They used a No. 17 and a No. 35--I don't even have anything that large . . . But anyway, it would avoid having to do yarnovers (is that what they're called?), I guess, something that I dislike doing. Where you wrap the stitch more than once and then drop it on the next row. I don't like doing that, it makes me nervous. But this might work. Hm.
