Knitting Zen

Mare's ambition and prolific knitting awe me. I would love to do something like knit the world. And at one time in my life I might have actually attempted it. I have finally realized, though, that I will never, ever do anything like that. I really admire people who do, though.

And it's not just the knitting--it's taking the time to look up the places, and just the whole project feel of it. I love it.

Sadly, though, I will never knit the world.

I did, however, order enough Sonata cotton from Elann in Angel Blue to knit the mesh pullover from the most recent Vogue Knitting. And I'm almost finished with the back of the pink Denim Style sweater. And, I'm thinking about crocheting the bikini top from Vogue. Yikes!
