Sunday, October 24, 2004:

I'm knitting this bag at the moment; I've finished the main body part and am working on the straps, trying to figure out how long to make them, since the bag is going to be felted.

I'm using Kureyon, which Pyewacket absolutely loves. She appropriated it today, crawled inside, tucked in her head, and played possum, hoping no one would notice . . .

I'm letting her stay there, but only because it's going to be felted anyway. And she doesn't need another kitty bed, since she has one already, also of Kureyon. Spoiled?

Willa, I love your bag. The colors are beautiful! Which Kureyon colors are they?

It's color number 88, the one that someone (Rachel of Yarn-a-go-go, I think) called "Vineyard." I'm into the fifth skein. I used Size 10-1/2 needles, which is a half size larger than the ones specified, but I already had the right size circulars and didn't feel it would make much difference.
