I finished a Minisweater in Plymouth Encore this weekend, and started another one in Noro Silk Garden. The Encore one was kind of a trial, to see if I might actually wear one. I think I might, although I didn't pay much attention to gauge, and it was a little small. The Silk Garden one will be slightly larger, I think.
I tried it on with nothing under it last night, though, and Bob thought it was just fine . . . ;)
I bought a couple of skeins of Rowan Summer Tweed in a mulberry color to make a One Skein Wonder, too.
I loved making the Mini Sweater, because it's made all in one piece from the neckline down to the bottom, and the only finishing that has to be done is to sew the underarm sleeve seams. Finishing is always my downfall, and I also hate to make a bunch of fiddly pieces and put them together.
The Silk Garden is color number 87--turquoise and green and pink and red--and it reminds me of the colors of the recycled silk sari yarn.
