I'm still working on the dog sweater, but SOOOO slowly. Honestly, if I actually sat down and worked on it, I could probably finish it in an evening. But most of my knitting is done while I'm waiting somewhere, or just a few odd moments here and there, like on a conference call at work, or stuck in traffic, or something like that. But this is so fiddly, with so many increases and decreases, and counting, that I can't do it without the pattern in front of me.
So I keep carrying it to work and back, and not knitting on it at all. I did most of the front piece while I was at my parents' for my dad's birthday on Sunday, ended up ripping it all out because I did increases instead of decreases because I wasn't paying attention.
I really need to finish it, because we're going out of town for a few days next week, and I need to start something mindless so I can have knitting for the car, and for sitting on the bank while Bob fishes. Or what I'll probably do is stick a couple of balls of sock yarn and some double points in my bag and call it a day.
